Finishing is where a piece becomes a gift or a wall companion. At Needlework Atelier Stacked we lace embroidery over acid-free board, tidy the reverse, and offer hoop displays with felt backing. Framing partnerships use conservation glass when the work deserves it; we avoid adhesives that stain linen over time.
Bring your completed stitchwork during open hours for a short assessment. We note fibre content, tension, and whether steam or blocking is needed before mounting. Class pieces can be finished here at a student rate; external work is welcome when the calendar allows.

Turnaround is typically two to three weeks. Urgent gift deadlines may be possible with a rush fee of €35 when the bench is free. Collect in person when you can — canal walks make a fine excuse — or arrange courier within Utrecht for €12.
