Commission work at Needlework Atelier Stacked begins with a conversation about scale, cloth, and meaning. We sketch motifs on tracing paper, choose floss against the light of the Oudegracht window, and agree on a timeline before the first stitch. Botanical portraits of a garden or a favourite tree are common requests; so are linen monograms for household textiles.
We also accept heirloom repairs when the fabric can still hold a needle — reweaving a motif edge, replacing lost French knots, or transferring a fragile piece onto a new ground. Not every repair is wise; we will say so plainly if the cloth is past kindness.

Assessment fees are credited toward repair work if you proceed. Larger narrative pieces are quoted after a sketch review.
